Nature of electronic space. The electronic space of the computer is well suited to the challenge of capturing complex models of reality. It’s abstract, fluid nature offers new possibilities of configuring, representing, manipulating and engaging with space. The connections and relationships between the basic building blocks of electronic space, and the fact that these relationships can change means that meanings are never fixed in one place for too long. New inputs may change the nature of a given space, new connections create new meanings. The raw data the space is made of can be represented in different ways, or reconstructed in a multitude of forms.
